Curious Kids Cooking & Food Science Camp
Kids will use all their senses in this fun and interactive STEAM camp!
All week long your child will be encouraged to play with food, ask questions & become a scientist in the kitchen!
We thought we were signing up for a just another fun camp. We did BUT we got a lot more than we bargained for. My daughter enjoyed the combo of cooking and science in one. She has gained more confidence to cook at home. And learned lots of new things. Learning takes place all the time, this was definitely a fun way to learn outside of our home kitchen.Mom of 9 Year Old Girl
My boys have done cooking camp a few times and love it! It’s the perfect blend of science, art, and food. They learn while having so much fun!Mom of 10 & 8 Year Old Boys
My daughter loved going to camp everyday and learning about the science behind food.Mom of a 7 Year Old
My daughter loved every aspect of the camp. As soon as I would pick her up she was eager to tell me about the recipes they made and the foods they ate. She could not wait to go back the next day to see what foods she would learn about.Mom of 7 Year Old
She learned there’s more to food than just eating it. There’s science and fun too!Mom of a 7 Year Old
This was our 2nd year back. My child loved it the 1st time and more the 2nd. She learned a lot of the science in the kitchen and has become more adventurous in trying new foods. She is also more confident in the kitchen when helping cook.Mom of 10 year old girl

What Parents Are Saying...
One of the Best Camps We've Done!
Curious kids camp is by far one of the best camps we’ve done! My son was so excited to tell about the science experiments and recreate recipes once he got home. He can’t wait to do this camp again!
---Jennifer P. (Mom of 8 year old son)
Improved My Son's Adventurous Side
The camp was fun and definitely improved my son's "adventurous" side! My child rarely eats vegetables/healthy foods, yet he came home telling me that we HAD to make the oatmeal date balls. We also made vegetable egg muffins right away because he told me he wanted to "see the rainbow" when we cut it open. 🙂 Sounds like we will definitely start trying some new things from here on out.

My Daughter Wants to Cook New Foods Herself
During the camp kids will create their own yummy snack, conduct fun food science experiments and play entertaining games that reinforce food and nutrition concepts.
A Taste of Fun...
Every year we have *NEW* experiments and tasty recipes, but if you are curious, here is a peak into some of the things we have done in past years!
- Exploded A Watermelon!!- We discussed different types of energy and saw just how powerful it is!
- Create a 'Bouncy Egg'- Kids will create a chemical reaction dissolving the shell of an egg.
- Oxidation- What is it? And how can you slow it down? We use apples to set up experiments and test our hypotheses!
- Pizza dough science- What chemical reactions are occurring? And what exactly is gluten? We dive into these topics and make our own 'rainbow pizzas!'
- Sweet foods to swap out for sugar- How can we sweeten foods without adding sugar? We make snack balls and smoothies that are full of sweet flavor without any added sugar!
