Looking for a fabulous gift for someone you know or love?  Me too!  There is something magical about watching someone open a gift and see them realize this was exactly what they wanted even though they didn’t know it yet.

But even if you don’t get to watch them open the gift, we all want to find a great present that is thoughtful, useful and brings that moment of delight.

If you are building your list of gift ideas, looking for a person who is tough to buy for or just seeking for some creative ideas, these are some of my favorite gifts in hopes to inspire you.  All of them come with my personal recommendation as these are all items I own, have purchased myself, gifted or been given.

And because I highly value integrity and I know you do too, some of the links below (not all) are affiliate links.  This means I earn a tiny percentage if you purchase from the link.  Thank you for supporting my work in helping women and families nourish and care for their body.

Let’s get it it!  These gifts are listed in no particular order and have all different price points.  I am confident you will find at least a few amazing ideas!

Gifts for Adults

1.Vinyl Player (Turntable)

The sound that comes from a vinyl is unlike anything else!  We have had our turntable for several years and every time we play a vinyl, it adds ambiance to the whole room.  This gift is perfect for music lovers, old souls and those with a nostalgic vibe.  Add a vinyl or 2 to complete the gift.  These are a few of our favorites:

2. Bracelet Watch

Last year I asked for and received this stunning watch.  I wanted a beautiful analog watch that helped me move away from looking at my phone as often to check the time.   It’s perfectly neutral and goes with everything which means that I wear it almost every day of the week.

3. Smokey Green Bomber Jacket (women’s)

One of my new favorite pieces I added to my wardrobe this fall!

4. Weekender Bag

We gave this bag in a ‘white elephant gift exchange’ and the receiver LOVED it!  I was very impressed with the quality.  But if you want to give a higher end leather bag that still won’t break the bank, this one is gorgeous and comes in three sizes I also have my eye on this winter white faux leather bag

5. Stemless Wine Glasses

Over the years some of our stemware has broken and last year I realized we had a whole cabinet of mismatched wine glasses.  I could even find 4 of the same type!  These beautiful stemless goblets are modern and chic but they also have stemmed glasses if you prefer those.  This would be great along with a bottle of your favorite wine or champagne if you are doing a white elephant or blind gift exchange.

6. Virtual Reality Headset

When my husband told me two to three years ago that he was saving up his ‘blow money’ to buy this I rolled my eyes but I’ll admit that it’s really a lot of fun.  I think we would both agree that our favorite game is Beat Saber, which is a rhythm game where you slash the ‘beats’ to the music.  Sometimes we will get it out after we put the kids to bed and have a competition.  Every time we play it’s like a bonus workout of the day.

7. Donner 88-Key Digital Piano

This was my girls Christmas gift last year and we have been thrilled with this decision.  The sound is fantastic and it looks gorgeous with a mid-century modern or transitional decor (and takes up much less space than a traditional piano).  My oldest practices on it most days.  If desired, you can plug in headphones to practice if others need quiet to finish some work in the same room.  We purchased this adjustable storage bench to slide under it.  The Donner keyboard is an investment but one we highly recommend.

8. Travel Slow Cooker

I was given this gift several years ago and had no idea how useful it would be!  I have had SO MANY people ask me about it.  The handle locks the lid in place when it is in the upright position so it is spill and leak proof.  It has a solid structure that stays steady and upright when traveling in the car and the base is cool-touch so you don’t burn yourself.  It’s also easy to clean because the pot is light weight and can be removed to wash it.  For any hostess, cook or kitchen gadget guru, this is a great gift!

9. Framed Scripture Art

I love to hang scripture, psalms and quotes in my home that remind me of what is true. These frames are high quality, come in different sizes and wood tones and also come singular or in packs.  I have been very impressed with their quality for the price.  I then choose scripture or quote from an Etsy seller (you can buy the digital pdf and have it printed at your local office supply store OR purchase the print from the seller.)  This is a beautiful and thoughtful way to give customized art and keep it within your budget.  If you want the convenience of buying framed art that is ready to give, these are a few prints you might like:

10. Crossbody Purse

This bag is gorgeous and high quality.  This bag has become my go-to daily purse and is neutral and goes with everything.  The strap is thick and very easy to adjust but stays in just the right place.  I couldn’t recommend this purse more!

11. Joggers

These just might be the softest, most comfortable pants I have ever worn.  They are true to size and flattering.  I have received several compliments on them.  And one thing that I love is that the material is versatile making them easy to dress up or down depending on outerwear and shoes.  These are definitely a favorite purchase!

12. Soundtracks: The Surprising Solution to Overthinking

Brilliant and practical, this book is my TOP non-fiction read this year!  It’s one of those that I want to keep on my bookshelf because I will read it more than once.  You may want to include a set of highlighters or your favorite pens for underlining when you give this book.

13. Bamboo Charcuterie Board

I have 2 wooden cutting boards that I use as my snack boards, charcuterie boards, & dinner boards, but I love that this one has containers and serving utensils that come along with it making it even easier to set up and serve.  This would make a great white elephant gift or hostess gift as well!

Gifts for Kids

1.Outfoxed!

This fun “who done it” game has become one of our favorites in the last year.  It’s a cooperative game where all of the players are working together to find the clues, and weed out the suspects before the guilty fox gets away!  Even kids as young as preschool can play along but that doesn’t mean that adults will get bored.  When it’s family game night, Outfoxed is chosen most often in our home- maybe it will turn into one of your favorites too.

2. National Geographic Kids Magazine

These magazines are packed with amazing photos and cleverly written to grab the attention of kids.  My girls look forward to their arrival in the mailbox every month! Your kids will read trivia, facts and stories about unique animals all over the world.  This is a great gift for any kid who loves animals & nature but also for kids that are still learning to develop an interest in reading because the small snippets and stories are short but interesting.

3. Mosaic Picture Frame

This is such a fun gift because it’s a kit that allows kids to use their creativity and create a frame that they can then place in their room.  The frame will hold either a 4×6 or 5×7 photo print.  Either include a picture with the gift or plan to take one and get prints made so they can enjoy their gift every time they walk by it.

4. Klee Kids Make-Up

If you have a daughter, niece or young friend who is interested in make-up Klee Kids creates products that do not contain questionable or harmful ingredients.  They have a range of sets with different colors and products to gift.  Because many drug store products may contain ingredients you don’t want to expose your daughter to, this is an option that is created just for them.

5. Flexible Kids Polarized Sunglasses

These sunglasses are amazing and have held up so well!  They come in a variety of sizes that will fit babies up to 12 year olds.  You can choose a color combo perfect for your child and they also come with a carrying pouch and microfiber cleaning cloth.  This would make a perfect gift or stocking stuffer.

6. 100 Days to Brave Devotional

This was a gift to my 8 year old this year and is something we do together.  I actually have the adult version and she loves the idea that we are reading about the same topics together.  Helping kids develop courage and resiliency is hard but beautiful.  Using tools like this can help us discuss topics and have conversations for connection and growth.

7. Floor USA Map Puzzle

Kid gifts that are educational and fun get extra stars on my gift lists!  This is a slightly larger puzzle (2’ x 3’) and can be done on the floor or any type of hard surface.  And if you are trying to help your kids learn more about geography and the United States, we also enjoy this Scholastic Race Across the USA Game too!

8. Kids Food, Nutrition & Cook Books

I love recommending books that help kids explore a wide variety of foods, flavors and recipes!  I choose books that speak positively about food and our body, encourage us to view our body with kindness and appreciation, and use amazing pictures and language to inspire curiosity about food and cooking.  To see ALL of the books I recommend, check out this full article.  These are a few others I have my eyes on:

Dad T-Shirts

When my husband became a dad over 8 years ago I gave him a Daddy-Saurus t-shirt for Father’s Day.  Since then we have given him MANY daddy and dad joke t-shirts to add to his collection.  If you hang around my husband very often, you will notice that these t-shirts are the ones he wears most often when he is in street clothes.
